Burgers' Zoo, Nederlands Openluchtmuseum (folk museum) and Hoge Veluwe nature reserve are only a 15-minute drive by car or public transport. The barge was built in 1930 in shipbuilding yard "de Vooruitgang" in Alphen aan de Rijn. The exceptionally beautiful shape and stable construction are a sight for sore eyes, the warm interior, designed in mahogany, giving it a classical touch.
