Het Savarijn
Het Savarijn has been one of the top restaurants in Nijmegen for years, firstly because of the consistent quality of the cuisine and the fine wine-dish combinations, and secondly because of the friendly, attentive service. A conscious decision to serve old-fashioned, seasonal cuisine, prepared in a modern kitchen and according to contemporary methods has been amply awarded. Het Savarijn has had a “Bib Gourmand” in the Michelin Guide since 2004: a special entry for restaurants serving meals at affordable prices. Het Savarijn has also been entered in all major Dutch restaurant guides. Het Savarijn’s wine list has been voted “Wine list of the Year” and the restaurant has been annually awarded an “Award of Excellence” by the Wine Spectator magazine.
